SHARE

It’s Five Minute Friday, and I get to link up with other writers! Each week a writing challenge is emailed with a single word, this week’s word is SHARE.

Please allow me to be brutally honest as possible. There are two things I absolutely will not share:

My man or my chai tea latte….🙃 Just sayin.

Ok, let me get serious ⬇︎

My husband and I often discuss the importance of sharing what God has done or is doing in our lives.

I think sometimes we’re reluctant to share because we don’t want to come off as bragging or we’re really not sure how others will respond.

My take…  if we don’t share, it allows for people to come to their own conclusions of where our blessings come from.  It is important to me that others don’t associate my blessings to me making all of the right decisions.

The God I serve is Good.

He is gracious.

He reigns on the just and the unjust.

He is generous –– the giver of all good gifts.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.  James 1:7

When you think of the word share, what is the first thing that comes to mind?  Leave a comment, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you for reading.

  1. First of all, thank you for leaving your sweet comment on Heart Choices #FMF. I do believe it’s good to share what God has done in our lives. In this way, we give Him the glory.

  2. What a wonderful reminder Chrystal, to share with others where our blessings come from and where our strength comes from in those not so blessed times! Your words spoke to me! Thank you, your #fmf neighbor, Cindy

  3. First off, I’m too Proud of you Mrs.Hunt! I Love it! You with blogging in Christ equals success! Im too proud of you, I’m tickled pink💖😍! “Share”. I asked my beloved husband of 18 years, “Are you willing to share in this new Journey with me”? About 2 weeks before we were going through a battle. It seemed one door closed after another. We became a bit discouraged with each other and couldn’t see eye to eye on anything. Finally after praying and walking by Faith, the main door we were hoping God would open for us, opened up in Gods perfect timing. I asked my beloved husband “Are you willing to share in this new Journey with me”? Without hesitation he said “Of course”! To Share in each others pitfalls, shortcomings, accomplishments, desires, faith and love is what it takes to help a marriage grow in love. God has already fought the good fight of Faith for us and Won, so we can overcome any battle by Faith!

  4. Lol – I’m with you on the man (🤨NOT SHARING) and I’ll have to try that tea☕!

When I hear “share” – I think of the word LOVE. Simply because it’s typically love that motivates and encourages us to share – I feel that it (sharing) all originates with love.💖
