Do you ever feel that there’s so much more you want to do but your current priorities and responsibilities don’t permit more?
Your hopes and dreams on hold and deep down inside you fear that time is running out.
You fear that the hopes and dreams that you’ve had since a young child may never come to past.
As a wife and mother, you possess two of the most important roles a woman can have but you feel guilty because you want more… you need more… you were born for more.
As you walk with God, he allows you to discover the plan and purpose he has for your life. You begin to realize that you can impact the world in ways you never even imagined; not because you’re so great but because he is great and because he’s chosen you to do what no one else can do.
You prep and prepare and try to figure it all out… how to make it all work together. How you can have the best of both worlds.
The truth is you probably cannot have the best of both worlds, but you can experience each world, one at a time. You have to focus on the now but never stop making plans and preparations for the future.
Jeremiah 29:11 states: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
No matter your current situation or circumstance.
Embrace it.
Give your very best. God knows your expected end and will give it to you as you continue to seek and follow him.
Don’t allow the enemy to trick you into believing your role, as a wife and mother, are insignificant. You are significant and God loves you.
Be encouraged and continue to be the best wife and mother the Lord has called you to be.
Replace the lies of the enemy with God’s truth.
You.. Your life… is Significant.
Chrystal,
When I first resigned from my job to become a homemaker, I was overwhelmed with feeling insignificant. I knew my role as a wife ( and mother) was extremely important but as I watched other women build their own lives I began to stumble. Today, I am experiencing peace and joy like never before because I decided to lay down my life. God is so perfect! I would’ve never thought of striving to be where I am (at home)! We can totally trust Him 😊
